This is a logo design I created for a local reenactment group from Transylvania. Their name means "Ravens of Transylvania" .They have pyrotechnical shows combined with medieval themes.
They have given me images for the sword and the ring for the sword and the ring to use as references , which I had to accurately depict, as they are important historical symbols. The client wanted it to look more as an illustration than a logo, in order to bring up the theatrical nature of their shows and to better show the details of all the elements. Even tough we agreed that this will be better depicted on a painterly manor, I created the illustration at a high resolution so it can still be printed on larger surfaces without loosing quality, so there won't be any issues even without using vector graphics.
This is made in Adobe Photoshop, using a Wacom Art pressure tablet.
